~~ Welcome to ECCHO ~~

ALL FUNDING FOR ECCHO ENDED ON DECEMBER 7, 2007.

THIS WEB SITE IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED.

From 2002-2006, the ECCHO (Ecosystems, Climate Change and Health Omnibus) Project operated within the Department of Population Medicine (University of Guelph) as the umbrella for several collaborative, multi-disciplinary projects. The web site has been supported by the Climate Change and Health Division (Health Canada) and the Public Health Agency of Canada.

All of ECCHO’s projects have been completed (refer to the “Projects” page).

From 2006-2007, funding was provided by the Climate Change and Health Division (Health Canada) and the Public Health Agency of Canada to expand the ECCHO web site to encompass more topic areas. Funding was also provided by the Public Health Agency in 2007. This allowed the ECCHO web site to operate as a key source of Canadian information on climate change, public health and/or ecosystem health, with some key international resources. ECCHO did not operate its own conferences nor did it provide any funding. ECCHO was solely a source of information.
